Meet Dr Laura Curran
Associate Dentist
Dr Laura was inspired to become a dentist as she’s always liked working with people and wanted a job that was hands-on.
I enjoy the technical aspects of my job and the satisfaction of completing highly precise tasks.”
Education & Professional Development
To prepare for her career, Dr Laura earned a Bachelor of Oral Health and Graduate Diploma of Dentistry from Griffith University in 2012. To help patients feel as comfortable as possible, she completed many courses in local anaesthesia. In the future, she plans to develop her skills further in aesthetic dentistry, a field she already enjoys.
Finding Fulfillment Helping Patients
For Dr Laura one of the most rewarding aspects of being a dentist is giving patients a positive experience through patience and kindness. “Having a patient say they are no longer anxious to come to the dentist is fulfilling.”
Outside of the Practice
When she’s not at the practice, Dr Laura enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and two cats. She also likes to read books, go to the gym, and travel to different wine regions.
